Freya

A direct and focused personality, which hides a dark and hard soul. Freya is affected heavily by the events in the book, and she focuses on power and combat runes to protect herself and those she cares for. She is prepared to use extreme violence to achieve her goals, and she carries grudges. Deeply loyal to those she trusts, she has high empathy but little time for procrastination. Her determination is often underestimated. When she enters a room, she has a presence that defies her physical size. She walks purposefully when she moves. Always completely positive, and refuses to give up. Slow to trust. 

Background - A forestry ranger in Sweden before her Awakening, Freya comes from a close-knit family in rural Sweden. Growing up surrounded by forests shaped her connection to nature, and she has skills that include hunting and tracking. Her parents have always given her complete freedom to do as she wants, and she knows they trust her. She was tracking climate change impact on the forest when the asteroid happened.
